Larry Flores II is a director whose work explores identity, memory, and the mythology of America through a distinctly Chicano lens. Drawing from his experiences across Texas, Miami, and the American Southwest, he approaches storytelling with an interest in the people, places, and perspectives often left outside of traditional representations of American Life.
His creative process extends beyond the frame, drawing from film, photography, fashion, music, architecture, and cultural history to build distinct visual worlds. Whether developing original narrative or creating work for a brand, Larry approaches each project from concept through execution, grounding strong imagery in character, emotion, and a clear point of view.
His work has screened at festivals across the country and received recognition for both directing and visual storytelling. Alongside his creative practice, Larry has taught filmmaking at the University of Miami.
Larry holds a B.S. in Film, Television & Digital Media from Texas Christian University and an M.F.A in Motion Pictures from the University of Miami.
